What’s new?
This update provides further enhancements to the Admin Panel functionality creating automated email notifications and empowering admins better control of their group data usage.
Change details:
As users approach 50%, 85% or 100% of their allocated data limit, an email alert will be sent to the user and and, for group accounts, group administrators.
When users exceed their allocated annual data limit, they will be restricted from accessing MetroMap/APIs on their next login attempt.
If a user exhausts their allocation, administrators can increase the users limit and access will be restored.
API keys are linked to user accounts. Once the user reaches the limit threshold, their API access will also be restricted.
For more information on how to manage user limits, kindly visit https://docs.metromap.com.au/docs/admin-panel#edituser
Important information:
Data limits set by group admins to users are annual.
Limit calculation comparison is based on the month the contract started to present.
Reset month for the limit applied to users is also on the month the contract began.
Once the admin has increased the limit for the user, a 1-2 hour waiting time is needed to be able to log in again.
