New look MapViewer
We’ve given MapViewer an overhaul. With a new look and feel, navigation becomes easier and we’ve introduced custom layouts with the introduction of a movable and dockable toolbar:
Improved vector layers navigation
To make locating and interacting with your saved and uploaded vector layers, you can now find saved projects easily with simple search, drag, drop and activate options.
Filter by Image type
It is now easier than ever to navigate our image catalogue with the inclusion of image type filtering. Select from RGB, CIR or Obliques to filter the available list to return available dates for just the image type you are after!
Oblique Imagery Viewer
Your feedback has been invaluable, and we have made a myriad of improvements to improve selection, navigation and MapViewer interactions of our Oblique images.
Elevation Profile Tool
Just like Obliques, we’ve listened, improved and peeled the Beta tag of our Elevation Profile Tool. Profiles are now more dynamic, include quick read calculations and do not obscure the basemaps.
Dynamic contours with hill shade digital elevation model
We’re introducing dynamic contours based on the MetroMap digital terrain models. Contours are available at 1m, 5m, 10m, 50m or 100m intervals, depending on your zoom level. For additional context, a hillshade base layer is activated between zoom levels 8-15.
Updated StreetView navigation
With an added swipe screen view, you can now have both aerial imagery and street-level images at the same time. Drop the StreetView pegman on the map and follow the orientation as you navigate the StreetView images.
