Modify Map Preferences

You can set your map preferences on MetroMap using the Settings Panel on the left (Gear Icon). The below preferences can be set:

Map Projection: Web Mercator, GDA 94/2020, MGA 94/2020 - this shall modify the coordinate system that applies to coordinates you see at the bottom right when navigating across MetroMap as well as for the Marker Tool markup.

Decimal Place Accuracy: Sets the number of decimals to which you wish to obtain coordinates; number of decimals may vary for each projection type

Background Layer: Sets the base map to either Satellite / Roads (or Streets) view, based on what you wish to be placed behind MetroMap imagery. This layer can be viewed when you toggle MetroMap imagery off using the “Toggle Imagery” function (Globe icon on right panel).
