Managing projects with a large number of drawings can make it difficult to find the right layers and perform actions efficiently.
With Layer Grouping using Tags, you can organise multiple drawings into logical groups, making it easier to find, manage and work with the drawings relevant to your project.

How it works
1. Select multiple drawings
Select the drawings you want to group together. You can select multiple drawings at once and apply a tag to all selected drawings.
2. Add a tag
Use the Add Tag .png){kind=small}
button to apply a tag to your selected drawings.
For example, you could add the tag "Project 1" to all drawings associated with that project.
Drawings can have multiple tags, allowing you to further categorise and create subgroups within a project.
For example, you could use "Project 1" as the main tag, then add additional tags such as "Stage 1", "Electrical", or "North Area" to further organise your drawings.
3. Find your drawings
Once your drawings have been tagged, there are two ways to quickly find them:
Search by tag
Enter a tag in the tag search field to find drawings associated with that tag.
Search by drawing name
You can also search directly using the drawing name when you know the specific drawing you're looking for.
Manage multiple drawings at once
After finding the drawings you need, you can select individual drawings or select all of the filtered results to perform bulk actions.
Available bulk actions include:
- Activate or deactivate multiple selected drawings
- Download multiple selected drawings
- Show results on map, to display only the drawings that match your current search or filter results.
This makes it easy to focus the map on a specific project, area, or category of drawings.
Example workflow
Imagine you're managing a large development project with drawings covering multiple areas.
You could tag the relevant drawings with "Project A". When you need to work on that project, search for the Project A tag to quickly bring up the relevant drawings.
You can then select all of the filtered results and activate them, download them, or sync them to the map.
This makes it easier to keep your workspace focused on the drawings relevant to the task you're working on.
