Saved Drawing Editing

You can now edit saved drawings and annotations directly on the map. This allows you to refine existing work without recreating drawings.

Enter Edit Mode

Double-click a saved drawing on the map, or select Edit Saved Geometry from the vector layer menu within the layer, to begin editing.


Exit Edit Mode (discards any unsaved changes)

You can exit edit mode by:

  • Pressing Escape
  • Double-clicking outside the drawing

What You Can Do in Edit Mode

While editing saved drawings, you can:

  • Move saved drawings across the map
  • Resize existing drawings
  • Add new drawings to an existing saved layer
  • Remove or reduce drawings within a saved layer
  • Add or update labels within saved layers by using the marker tool
  • Switch between drawings by double-clicking the one you want to edit
  • Select a drawing from the measurement info panel to zoom to its location
These tools are disabled while editing is active
  • Search
  • Download
  • Clip it
  • Swipe mode
  • Street View

Image Export Improvements (Clip It Tool)

Two additional projection options are now available when downloading images using the Clip It tool:

  • PCG1994 (Perth Coastal Grid 1994) – EPSG:10464
  • PCG2020 (Perth Coastal Grid 2020) – EPSG:8031

These options improve compatibility with workflows requiring specific coordinate reference systems.
